Houston, Texas USA October 7, 2003 The International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers, Inc’s (IISRP) 45th Annual General Meeting will be held in Warsaw, Poland, from Monday, 17 May through Thursday 20 May 2004, and will be hosted by Dwory SA, James L. McGraw the Institute’s Managing Director & CEO announced today.
He made the announcement upon his return from the Institute’s 44th AGM in Beijing, China, where Zdzislaw Ingielewicz, Chairman of Dwory SA, was elected President International.
“This will be an historical meeting for the IISRP as it will be our first AGM in Central Europe,” said McGraw. Central Europe represents considerable business opportunities for the elastomers industry and could be the magnet for excellent attendance.
Mr. McGraw added that the IISRP will post a short video on the sites of Warsaw, provided by Dwory SA, to their website at www.iisrp.com for attendees to view along with a copy of Mr. Ingielewicz’s welcome letter which was presented at the Beijing AGM. McGraw notes that free copies of the video may also be requested via the IISRP website.
The IISRP is an international not-for-profit association with 45 corporate members domiciled in 21 countries who produce 95 percent of the world’s supply of synthetic rubber. Incorporated in 1960 and headquartered in Houston, Texas, the Institute supports regional offices in London and Tokyo.
