HOUSTON, Texas USA, 22 January 2003Omsk Synthetic Rubber has become the 4th producer of manmade elastomers in the Russian Federation to join the International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers, Inc. (IISRP), James L. McGraw, IISRP Managing Director & CEO, has announced.
The company produces BR, SBR, ESBR and other lattices at its manufacturing site in the Russian town of Omsk.
“The IISRP is very happy to gain our fourth member from the Russian Federation,” said James L. McGraw, IISRP Managing Director & CEO, in noting that intense recruiting in Central and Eastern Europe “has been a high priority” for the Institute.
The other three IISRP Russian members are Nizhnekamskneftekhim, JSC, in the city of Tatarstan, Efremov Synthetic Rubber Enterprise in the town of Efremov, and Sibur, which is located in Moscow.
Mr. Michael A. Sutyaginsky, Chairman, will become Omsk’s Director Representative to the IISRP and will also serve on the Board of the IISRP’s European Section.
The IISRP is an international not-for-profit trade association with 48 corporate members domiciled in 22 countries who produce 90 percent of the world's supply of synthetic rubber. Incorporated in 1960 and headquartered in Houston, Texas, the Institute supports section offices in London and Tokyo.
