HOUSTON, TEXAS, 23 April 2003The International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers Inc. has been forced to change the dates for its 44th Annual General Meeting in Beijing, China, for the second time this month, James L. McGraw, IISRP Managing Director & CEO, has announced.
Originally scheduled to be held in mid-May, the meeting was postponed earlier this month to 15-18 September due to the outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) in China.
“Now”, McGraw said, “after being informed that scheduling conflicts would prevent some agents in Beijing from carrying out certain required meeting assignments during the week of 15 September, we’ve been forced to postpone the dates again.”
The new dates are 21-25 September.
McGraw added that the overall program will remain very close in content to the originally scheduled program.
The IISRP is an international not-for-profit association with 47 corporate members domiciled in 21 countries who produce 95 percent of the world’s supply of synthetic rubber. Incorporated in 1960 and headquartered in Houston, the Institute supports offices in London and Tokyo.
