Whether your concern lies in raw materials, technology, management, international trade, or in the manufacture, distribution, or use of synthetic/natural rubber, you will want these reference works close at hand. They provide you vital in-depth information on a worldwide basis with data and source material that is no where else available.

Note to Resellers:  It is the IISRP’s Policy that resellers of the IISRP’s publications provide, in advance, the name and company of the customer you are ordering for as there is a different pricing structure for producers of synthetic rubber who are not members of the IISRP.  We will not accept your order without this information.

Elastomer Bulletin No. 1

This nine page report focuses on the emerging EPDM Chinese market, with background information about global EPDM producers and capacities.  The content was prepared by CNCIC (China National Chemical Information Centre), the leading chemical information center in China.  IISRP supplemented the report with forecast data of supply and demand for the global and Asian market.

The Chinese EPDM market information includes supply/demand, market segmentation and import/export data.

Elastomer Bulletins No.s 2A,2B,2C (4-5 pages each)

2A: updates the status of the Chinese synthetic rubber industry. The cash-rich emerging companies in the private sector are playing an increasingly important role in the synthetic rubber manufacturing business, versus the existing two, giant, state-own groups of PetroChina and Sinopec. In the next few years there will be an additional capacity of more than 300,000 tons, primarily in the area of specialty rubbers such as IR and IIR, by these non-public companies.

2B: is about polybutadiene rubber (BR) supply and demand in Chinese market Total BR capacity in China reached more than half million tons at the end of 2009. An additional 360,000 tons of BR capacity will be added by year 2011 by all Chinese producers.

2C: concerns the Acrylic Rubber (ACM) market in China where total demand is about 24 to 26 thousand tons per year, mainly in the automobile production and maintenance sectors.

Elastomer Bulletins No. 3 (13 pages)

This thirteen page report details the SBR market by supply and demand in China. Chinese SBR demand reached more than 1.1 million tons in 2009, and increase of 21.4% versus the previous year. The data in this report includes supply, demand, import and export as well as future expansion projects.  The SBR capacity was 1.0 million tons at the end of 2009. It is expected that an additional 600 thousand tons of SBR will be added in the next decade. The report also analyzes the impact of the US tire anti-dumping policy as well as the 2010 Chines SBR market.

Elastomer Bulletins No. 4 (9 pages)

This nine-page report details the BR technology research in China, including the development of conventional cis-polybutadiene (BR), low cis-polybutadiene (LCBR), high vinyl polybutadiene ( HVBR), and the technology of bulk polymerization of butadiene. Rare earth catalyzed polybutadiene, producing LCBR and HVBR, is now playing a more important role in China’s emerging BR downstream market with increasing high performance requirements such as better abrasion resistance for tires and plastics modifications. Energy saving technology is also being developed.
